The apple does not fall far from the tree 是一句英語(yǔ)諺語(yǔ),直譯是“蘋果不會(huì)掉在離樹很遠(yuǎn)的地方”,實(shí)際的含義是“父母是什么樣,孩子也是什么樣”。需要注意的是這句諺語(yǔ)帶有貶義,和中文里“有其父必有其子”的概念一樣。
